"With this plant, Gruma consolidates itself as the leading company in the production, marketing and distribution of tortillas in the United States and reaffirms its commitment to offer its customers and consumers World Class quality and healthy products that satisfy their tastes and preferences," said Gruma’s CEO, Juan Gonzalez Moreno, during the inauguration.

At full capacity, the plant will produce more than 10 billion tortillas of wheat and corn a year, as well as tortilla chips and flatbreads under its brands Mission, Guerrero and Calidad, to supply the states of Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas and the northern area of Texas. Gruma operates another 19 production facilities in the United States alone.
