Lincoln Industries, U.S. largest privately-held provider of metal finishing services, announced that it has acquired affiliated Wisconsin-based businesses, Southwest Metal Finishing and Inventix Manufacturing.

Southwest Metal Finishing, based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is a decorative chrome plating and metal finishing company. Inventix, located at Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, produces zinc and aluminum castings. Southwest Metal Finishing also has a facility in Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

Lincoln Industries has been nationally recognized as a major provider of manufacturing, fabrication and metal finishing services. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, the company also has a facility in Pine Island, Minnesota.

Lincoln Industries, Southwest Metal Finishing and Inventix are all suppliers to Harley-Davidson.

The transaction expands Lincoln Industries capabilities, market reach, and will strengthen relationships with current customers, including Harley-Davidson, according CEO and Chairman Marc LeBaron.

“The combination of our companies will drive substantial technological and operational synergies,” said LeBaron. “While we provide more than 40 finishing processes, and significant manufacturing capabilities, the addition of aluminum die cast manufacturing and nickel chrome plating on aluminum die cast products are important additions to our offerings,” he said.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
