Frisa opens US$ 150 million specialty steel facility

Steel products manufacturer Frisa inaugurated its specialty mill in Garcia, Nuevo Leon. The project opened 250 jobs directly.

The US$ 150 million facility has capacity to manufacture up to 350,000 metric tons of specialty steel to supply the company’s units that produce forged parts for aerospace, oil, heavy machinery and automotive industries.

The new plant will be able to produce 600 different combinations of specialty steel.
