    Chihuahua, Chihuahua.- Maquilador development in Chihuahua as a role model led to the creation of the Manufacturing Industry Commission in the House of Representatives, chaired by Representative Alejandro Cano Ricaud, who during his tenure obtained Flat Tax exemption for maquiladoras, which damaged the sector for being a tax on flows. Before presenting his final report on the activities carried out as Federal Representative for District 8, Alejandro Cano Ricaud spoke in an interview about what he made as a legislator to benefit Chihuahua, being the most important his chairing the Export Manufacturing Industry Commission. This Commission was created after a visit Francisco Rojas, speaker for PRI Representatives in San Lazaro, made to Chihuahua, when the idea of appointing such Commission was first discussed upon seeing the importance this industrial branch has for northern Mexico states, especially in Ciudad Juarez
