    Peñasquito, Zacatecas.- The Canadian company Goldcorp has budgeted US$400 million to be invested in equipment for their three mines in Mexico, in addition to pushing the exploration projects they have here, for they have no doubt in keeping on with their projects here, according to declarations from Chuck Jeannes, President. “The plans we have are for the long term, we have learned that it is always best to grow at the sites we already know”, he said. In 2011, Peñasquito Mine produced 253,00 ounces of gold and they are forecasting a 70% growth for this year, making of this Region the second most important for Goldcorp.
