Mr. Murray’s practice focuses on the development of import/export compliance programs, tariff classification, valuation, origin marking, trade security, Customs penalty mitigation, and U.S. export controls. In doing so, he often helps companies develop internal import and export compliance procedures and manuals, conducts import/export training sessions, obtains Customs administrative rulings, prepares prior disclosures, and manages Customs audits. Mr. Murray received his B.A. in Political Science from Grinnell College and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems journal.
