Gerardo was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. He received his B.Sc. degree on Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Gerardo obtained his MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration and Leadership EGADE at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
His working experience encompasses several industries including Automotive working for Mercedes-Benz, and HVAC working for York International. His experience in aerospace started in 1998 with GE Aircraft Engines working as Commodity Project Leader for their sourcing office in Mexico. Later, he was assigned as Quality and Technical support Leader and Six Sigma Blackbelt.
In 2002 joined Goodrich’s Turbomachinery Products Division as Plant Manager for their Guaymas, Mexico facility. In 2008 he was appointed as Product Transition Manager for the Engine Components Division.
Gerardo is accredited as a Certified Manufacturing Technologist by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Certified Purchasing Manager by the Institute for Supply Management, and Six Sigma Blackbelt by GE.
