Agustin is Executive President for Mexican Auto Parts Industry Association, Industria Nacional de Autopartes, A. C. He has coordinated the International Automotive Industry Congress in Mexico for 4 years. He was member of INA’s Board of Directors and Vice-president for more than 15 years, and member of the teams that negotiated NAFTA and Mexico-Europe Free Trade Agreement. He worked for Grupo Desc for 26 years, holding the positions of Corporate Control and Financial Planning Director, Corporate Control Director and Manager in the auto parts sector. He had previously worked for six years for Ford Motor Company Mexico (Cuautitlan) in several Iron Casting Manufacturing Plants, Engines Assembly and Trucks Assembly in several areas, including Quality, Manufacturing Processes, Plant Engineering and Maintenance, Production and Maintenance Projects. He has a Master’s Degree in Emotional Rational Therapy, Special Programs for Human Development. He took Companies High Management Program and Family Companies Program in IPADE; and has taken the courses: Medium and Small Suppliers Development and Counseling Techniques in Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, Total Quality and Finances, Projects, Procurement, Disinvestment, among others.
