Mr. Baez has been involved in automotive distribution sector in Mexico for 15 years. This experience of trade-union leadership had an immediate and successful precedent when Gómez Báez directed the Volkswagen dealers of the country. As AMDA’s Chairman he has set himself the task of a wide and ambitious thematic agenda, presided fundamentally by the challenges of regulating the indiscriminate import of second-hand vehicles of North America and to stimulate the growth of the local market that has showed a worrying stagnation in the last years. The Mexican Automobile Dealers Association is the organization that groups 1,600 dealerships of new vehicles - both cars and trucks - of all the brands with presence in Mexico, one of three markets with major vehicle offer in the world.
