Grupo Industrial Saltillo investing US$110 million

Grupo Industrial Saltillo (GIS) is going to invest roughly US$110 million this year, with 60% allocated for its Mexico operations.  Besides GIS, this amount includes Evercast, GIS Ederlan and Infun Ederlan, co-investments of GIS within the auto parts sector, with participation rates of 70, 50 and 50%, respectively, according to a press release submitted to the Mexican Stock Market (BMV). As per corporate data, the Group has plans to exert investment worth up to US$65 million for the auto part sector, including co-investment, out of which US$28 million are going towards operations in Mexico, while the remainder is going to the plants located in Europe and Asia.
