Repsol is investing US$4 billion for gas stations in Mexico

Spanish Multinational Corporation Repsol arrived in Mexico. This energy Firm is going to invest US$4 billion over the next five years, and is expecting to have more than 200 gasoline stations by the end of the year. PEMEX's (Petroleos Mexicanos) new competitor, has plans to open 250 gasoline stations each year, to reach a participation rate in the Mexican market between 8 and 10%, with roughly 1,200 sales locations in 2022. Nowadays, Repsol has 10 service stations in Mexico City. The symbolic opening of the first Repsol gasoline station, caught the attention of citizens circulating by the Picacho Ajusco highway, as a strong safety operation was deployed in the area.
