Auto parts capture 40% of Queretaro’s FDI

The auto parts sector has been ‘speeding up’ in Queretaro over the last ten years, reaching a participation of almost 40% of the total Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) captured in the State. FDI reported in Queretaro for the production of vehicle components reached US$23.1 million, which represents 2.8% of the total investment during 207, valued at US$815.3 million, according to information from the Federation's Ministry of Economy. The participation of the auto parts sector's activities had escalated to represent 38.4% of the foreign capital received in the State until the third trimester of 2017 -that is the latest information the office has on record-.
