Despite the uncertainty in the face of the North America Free Trade Agreement’s negotiations, members of the Corredor de El Salto Industrial Association are going to invest US$350 million during 2018, thus creating 2,000 new jobs. The President of the El Salto Industrial Association, Raul Güitron, weighs in: “85% of this growth is expected to come from expansions to current production plants operating in the El Salto Industrial Corredor, while 15% shall come from new investment projects arriving in the Corredor”.
