Sales of low-to-zero emissions vehicles in Mexico fell 24.9% during July totaling 671 units with 13 of those being full-electric cars and the rest 658 were hybrids, Mexican Auto Industry Association (AMIA) revealed.

From January through July, Mexican auto dealers have sold 5,711 electrified cars, which represents a 53.4% hike compared to the same seven-month period of 2016. Most of those sales, a 43.5%, have taken place in Mexico City, where electric and hybrid cars are the only ones allowed to transit every day of the week.
