The construction of the Bajio Technological Development Innovation Complex started today, when the first stone was set. Bio-turbosine production will be developed in Guanajuato, as the emblem project of the Center of Applied Innovation for Competitive Technologies (CIATEC), with its Director, Doctor Ricardo Guerra Sanchez, underscoring that the main objective behind this complex is to serve the automotive industry. The necessary investment to secure the center's construction is estimated at US$34.1 million, to be applied on an 8.2 hectares plot of land to be developed in three stages, with a completion time of eight years. The center includes four laboratories, as well as meeting rooms and juntas y services offices for seven different sectors.
