Inteva opened auto part plant in Guanajuato

Inteva, a component and automotive systems manufacturer based out of the US, inaugurated in Silao, Guanajuato, its sixth plant in Mexico. The new factory, which measures 27,000 square meters, will make interior systems, although it could increase its production capacity to four Inteva product lines, including roofing systems, opening systems, motors and electronics, informed a spokesperson for the Company. “This is Inteva's sixth location in Mexico, to expand the print its already leaving in this Country”, informed the manufacturer. With this opening, Inteva, that provides auto parts directly to automotive assemblers, is planning to generate 500 jobs over the next few months, in addition to the 100 positions already operating in its facilities in Matamoros, Juarez City and Puebla.
