Mexican machined and cast products manufacturer Arbomex received in recent days the National Prize for Exports, the highest award the federal government grants to Mexican enterprises that successfully operate in the global market.

At the ceremony, President Enrique Peña Nieto acknowledged that companies such Arbomex contribute to the global spreading of the Mexican exportable supply and represent a role model. “It is a national pride that these companies exemplify the export potential of the national manufacturers,” said Peña Nieto to Arbomex general director, Mario Rodriguez Hernandez.

Founded 30 years ago, Arbomex is a leading manufacturer and exporter of high added value products such as camshafts, crankshafts, auxiliary shafts, wheel hubs, cylinder heads, flywheels and plates.

Among other recognitions, the company recently achieved the Award for Excellence by Mazda Motors Mexico, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' Best Supplier of the Year Award.

Rodriguez Hernandez thanked the President for the award on behalf of the company and the 1,500 workers of its two plants located in Celaya and Apaseo El Grande, Guanajuato.
