The State Government is leading a commercial mission in Japan, with the participation of eight companies from the State, that are looking to promote the fish and seafood from Baja California in the Asian market. The Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture is coordinating the companies that are ready to showcase the products from the Baja California sea. Japan is currently one of the main markets where Baja California products are distributed, where products like lobster, abalone, generous clams, red sea urchin, sea cucumber, blue fin tuna, have been commercialized traditionally, but the intention is to position other varieties such as mussel or other high quality foods from this Mexican region.
