FDI in Nuevo Leon adds up to US$ 1.6 billion during the first semester

The Ministry of Economy and Labor in the State (Sedet) pointed out that 38 investment agreements with foreign companies were finalized during the first semester this year, valued at US$1.6 billion, to become installed in the State or expanding operations. These projects would generate 5,525 direct jobs. According to this State Office, this amount represents 49% of the total foreign investment announced for all of 2016, as it totaled US$3.34 billion.
