Kia starts car production for Hyundai

Kia started the production of the Accent subcompact for Hyundai, its sister company, at the Pesqueria plant in Mexico. Initially, 20,000 units will be produced, and this number is expected to grow to 100,000. Most of the production will supply the national market. This model's production will help boost sales in Mexico. The first vehicles produced in the Kia Mexico plant have already been shipped out to be distributed at the different car agencies across the country, including Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadalajara.
