Exports by IMMEX Companies in Nuevo Leon growing 44.5%

According to statistics by the National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry (INDEX) in Nuevo Leon, during April this year, companies of the Export Manufacturing, Maquiladora and Service Industry (IMMEX), had total exports valued at US$36.79 billion, this surpasses the record for the same month in 2013 by 44.5%. Ricardo Cantu, President of INDEX Nuevo Leon, underscored that this advance is due primarily to the good performance of the automotive, household appliances and electronics industries.
