Toyota inaugurated its offices in Queretaro, which will become the central hub of the assembly plant that is currently being built in Apaseo el Grande. Queretaro's, Governor Francisco Dominguez Servien, detailed that despite not having assemblers, the State is a leader auto part producer, along with Guanajuato and other states in the region. Moreover, 172 companies dedicated to auto parts production are operating in Queretaro, quantifying more than 50,000 employees in the automotive sector.
