The manufacturing industry production value in Mexico had an 11.7% real annual rate growth during the first four months this year, its largest record over the last seven years, according to data from Mexico's National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). The states which generated 51.3% of the total manufacturing production in Mexico were: the State of Mexico (12.2%), Nuevo Leon (11.3%), Guanajuato (10.9%), Coahuila (10.7%) and Jalisco (6.2%). The value of manufacturing production went up from January to April 2017, compared to the real annual rate from the same period of 2016 in: Chiapas, Yucatan, Guanajuato, Tlaxcala, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosi, Puebla and Aguascalientes.
