Queretaro, ranked third auto part producer

The auto part industry in Queretaro is reporting yearly growth rates of 8%, thus earning a position as the third major auto part producer in Mexico. Production this year is expected to reach a value of US$4.1 billion, explained the head of the Ministry of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Marco del Prete Tercero. Even though the auto part industry represents the most dynamic sector in the State, del Prete Tercero affirms that one of its main challenges is to establish research centers, especially for the development of new technologies.
