Industrial sector growing 6% in Queretaro

The industry in Queretaro presents growth rates between 5.7% and 6% during the first semester this year, said Esau Magallanes Alonso, from the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA) in the State. Mr. Magallanes Alonso also mentioned that 20 large companies have been established during this period, and SMEs from different sectors have started operations as well. Additionally, US$200 million have been invested and 30,000 jobs have been created. The investment that has arrived in Queretaro is mainly from the automotive and the aerospace sector. With this, a 12% annual increase[1]  in production is expected by the end of the year.
