Alejandra Palacios, President of the Federal Commission for Economic Competitiveness (COFECE), assured that Mexico will face successfully its economic challenges, by reinforcing the conditions for competitiveness and maintaining open policies regarding merchandise and raw materials. The President of the Entrepreneurial Coordinating Council, Juan Pablo Castañon, explained that in many areas, the logistics and manufacturing costs are below our competitors', hence the need to make the most out of it to attract and generate more investment. Palacios said that the aerospace industry growth must be maintained, with exports sustaining growth rates of 140% in recent years.
