Mexican Berries have “visa” guaranteed

Despite the renegotiation of the NAFTA, the exportation of berries will carry on freely, due to the different crop times between Mexican and U.S. berries, as well as the similar health and safety conditions in both countries, explained Juan Flores, general director of the Association National of Berries Exporters in Mexico (Aneberries). “We believe there shouldn't be any problem going ahead, as we produce during their off season, in contrast to the U.S. and especially in contrast to California,  the main berries producer and distributor in the U.S.”, said Flores.
