Mexican Governor: ‘If Sonora Grows, Arizona Grows’

The governor of Sonora, Claudia Pavlovich, touted the economic ties between her state and Arizona, and expressed that she considers Arizona a good neighbor. “If Arizona grows, Sonora grows. If Sonora grows, Arizona grows,” she said. She used Lucid Motors as an example of what leaders on both sides of the border call the Arizona-Sonora Megaregion. It involves pitching the area’s supply chain, transportation infrastructure and workforce to businesses, especially in the aerospace, mining and automotive industries.
