Honeywell bets on Mexico’s future

The research and development center of the aerospace division of Honeywell, in Mexico City, will receive up to 200 young students of universities such as UNAM, Universidad Iberoamericana and Politecnico Nacional. The corporation has at least 15 avant-garde projects to attract millennial talent and will use big data to develop practical solutions to everyday problems by using digital controllers. One example is improving the connectivity between airplanes and airports, with a vision to enhance efficiency, safety and users' comfort in connections, as well as to expedite the exit from terminals, improve surveillance, etc.
