US$300 million to be invested in paper mill construction

Paper producer Grupo Gondi will invest at least US$300 million to build a new paper mill in Mexico, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. The Company disclosed that the plant will have capacity for 350,000 metric tons of packaging paper per year, to provide for its subsidiaries and clients medium and high quality liner paper. Eduardo Posada, general director of the Company, pointed out that this investment will support improvements in service and in the Company's position in the Mexican packaging market.
