The firm iTexico is planning to establish a maquila and software development center in Cancun. iTexico is one of the technology sub-contractor firms based in Silicon Valley, California, that has announced an expansion of operations in Mexico and South America. The first step for iTexico in Cancun will be to become established in this city's Centro Tecnologico, looking to be established in the short-term with the initial objective of attracting human talent, to start specific projects to develop from the Cancun offices, explained Anurag Kumar, CEO of iTexico.
