Honda investing in Jalisco and Guanajuato

Honda Mexico avouched its trust in the national market and announced that it will continue investing in the plants located at El Salto, Jalisco, and Celaya, Guanajuato. Hiroshi Shimizu, president of Honda Mexico, has clarified that even with the international circumstances, especially the renegotiation of the NAFTA, plans will continue their course. “We completed the Celaya investment, valued at US$800 million, to assemble transmissions. Internal investment will continue, however with small amounts both in El Salto, Jalisco, and in this city in Guanajuato”, said Shimizu.
