In the face of the renegotiation of the NAFTA, the Ministry of Economy is evaluating strategies to increase the China commercial alliances. According to Ildefonso Guajardo, Secretary of Economy, some countries in Latin America have China commercial ally. This is because these American countries export raw materials, while Mexico sales manufactures, which is why, in some sectors, there is competence with the Asian country. “Nowadays we are exporting nearly 90% of manufacture[1] , our profile is more of a competitor in some areas, rather than complement”, said Mr. Guajardo.
