Bajio, attractive region for German investors

The Bajio is earning a spot as an attractive region for German investors, primarily working on projects for the automotive industry. Andreas Müller, Sub director of the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMEXA), comments that there have been more projects in the last years, thanks to investment by Audi and BMW, in Puebla and San Luis Potosi; Mercedes teaming up with Nissan in Aguascalientes. This zone is relevant attracting foreign investment as well as identifying Mexican firms with potential to arrive to this European country, said Müller.
