European Union looking to invest in Nuevo Leon

The European Union(E.U.) is planning to explore new investment opportunities in Nuevo Leon, in the automotive, pharmaceutic, energy, services and tourism sectors, informed Domenico Fornari, head of the Economic and Commercial Section of the E.U., in a reunion with the Secretary of Economy and Labor in the State, Fernando Turner. The European investment inflow to Nuevo Leon during the 1999-2016 period was estimated at US$18.27 billion. There are currently 640 European companies in Nuevo Leon, generating 15,600 jobs.
