Surface finishing sector in Queretaro looking for new markets

One of the main anchors of development for the surface finishing industry is the foreign commerce, since 70% of the national production is shipped away to different countries, especially the U.S. The President of the Mexican Association of Surface Finishing Industries (AMAS), Abelardo Gonzalez, informed that there are more business opportunities to take on, both in Mexico and in foreign countries, in places of Europe and Asia. Gonzalez highlights that: “The main percentage of Mexico-produced goods belongs to the automotive industry; but there is also aerospace industry, which we are a part of, even though it is not our direct cluster”.
