American Chamber, has investment plans in Mexico

Monica Flores Barragan, President of the U.S. Chamber Commerce (AmCham) Mexico, assured that U.S. companies are not reducing the investment amounts, despite the re-negotiation of the NAFTA. Flores Barragan informed that the Chamber invested over US$4.6 billion during 2016 and moreover, the capital inflow has not stopped and will not drop during 2017 with the renegotiation of the NAFTA. The Chamber's member companies are currently generating over 30% of employment in Mexico and 70% of FDI comes from U.S. companies.
