Avocados From Mexico, the number-one selling avocado brand in the U.S., will run an ad during the game’s first commercial break of Super Bowl action this Sunday on FOX.

Back for its third consecutive ad, the brand will entertain football fans with a healthy message that plays off the cultural insight that we live in an age of over-sharing, where secrets are no longer kept.

"We are excited to once again showcase the fun, light hearted spirit of our brand during advertising's biggest night," said Alvaro Luque, president of Avocados From Mexico in a press release. "Our ad is part of an integrated campaign to educate consumers about the good fat that Avocados From Mexico provide, and we are delighted to lead an important shift towards advertising healthy options during this premier pop culture moment."

The Super Bowl happens to coincide with the peak of the Mexican growing season for avocados.

According to Ramon Paz, an adviser to the Avocado Producers & Exporting Packers Association of Mexico, most of the work involved in turning avocados into guacamole happens in the U.S. While the value of Mexican avocados at the border was about US$ 1.5 billion in 2015, the amount jumps to US$ 3.5 billion after they’re processed.
