Iberdrola plans to build a new US$ 600 million power plant in Mexico

Iberdrola, second largest electricity producer in Mexico, announced today it will invest US$ 600 million to build a new plant in the State of Nuevo Leon.

Jose Ignacio Sanchez Galan, Iberdrola’s CEO, said to Bloomberg it will be its twenty-first plant in the country.

Sanchez Galan pointed out the company has confidence in Mexico and they expect demand of energy to keep growing in the coming years.
