Mexico on track to become the fifth largest exporter worldwide

Mexico could shoot up from the ninth to the fifth position as the largest exporter in the world by the year 2030, according to a document published by the Executive Council of Global Enterprises (CEEG), entitled “Mexico 2030 in the face of the fourth industrial revolution”, which contents a series of goals the Mexican economy could reach by the year 2030 and the strategy to reach them. The goals are: 1. Become the fifth exporter worldwide; 2. Double work productivity; 3. Double the gross domestic product per capita and improving its distribution; 4. Creating one million formal jobs per year, with better remunerations.
