The Ministry of Economic Development, Competitiveness and Tourism (SEDECT) will welcome European entrepreneurs from BMW supplying companies during the month of February, as they are planning to invest in Mexico in order to supply auto parts and components for the new plant to be set up in San Luis Potosi, informed Jose Antonio Gutierrez Jardon, head of the SEDECT. He commented that there will be a work tour by late March through Asia and Europe, specifically Germany, to promote the factors which attracted Asian companies. In addition, he pointed out that 6 or 7 projects out of a total of 23 “first stones”, openings and investment announcements, could be formalized during the first six or seven months of 2017.
