Dormakaba Corporation, specialist in security systems and high technology access control, recently inaugurated its first manufacturing plant in Nogales, Sonora. The plant is located at the industrial park San Carlos, where US$2.7 million were invested, expecting to create nearly 200 direct jobs. Cuauhtemoc Galindo, Nogales Mayor, together with investor Riet Cadonau, the Government Secretary Miguel Pompa Corella and local business men, cut the inaugural ribbon. This plant's opening represents a growth opportunity for Nogales, as well as a green card, due to its qualified workers and its safety levels as a destination to become installed.
