Auto sales sky-rocketed 22.5% during November on Mexican market

Auto sales in Mexican market sky-rocketed 22.5% during November compared to same month from 2015, Mexican Auto Dealers Association (AMDA) revealed in a press release.

Last month 154,616 light vehicles were sold for a total 1,411,105 units from January through November, a 18.5% increase compared to same period from 2015.

Nissan remains as sales leader with 354,000 vehicles sold over 11 months and a 21.5% share of the market, followed by General Motors with 266,000 units and a 18.9% share. 

Volkswagen comes third with a 15.9% share (224,000 units) while Toyota and Fiat Chrysler are tied in fourth place with 6.4%. They’re followed by Ford (6.2%), Honda (5.5%) and Kia with a 3.9% share.
